Brit Ahuvim, a "lovers' covenant," is an alternative to the classical ketubah developed by Rabbi Rachel Adler. Rather than a one-directional acquisition, it frames marriage as a partnership that both people enter as equals, drawing on the Jewish legal model of a business partnership (shutafut).
